The Department of Education (ED) has rescinded the student eligibility requirement that students no longer face penalties or suspension of Title IV aid due to a drug conviction that occurred while the student was enrolled and receiving Title IV aid. Although the loss of federal student aid no longer applies, per federal regulations, institutions must still disclose this information to students related to drug convictions.
