Student Organizations

Following are Coastal Carolina University-sponsored student organizations that are marine-oriented:

Aqua League is the SCUBA diving club at Coastal Carolina University with an emphasis on dive training and travel. Everyone is welcome – divers and non-divers. We are also looking to help conservation in the local area by organizing beach, marsh, and reef sweeps.  Learn more »

Coastal Elasmobranch Society (CES) is a society devoted to raising funds for the scientific study of living and fossil chondrichthyans (sharks, skates, rays and chimaeras). Other aims include the promotion of education, conservation, and wise utilization of natural resources. Coastal Saltwater Anglers is an organization of Coastal Carolina students who love saltwater fishing. The organization hosts seminars and competes as a Southern Kingfish Association Division 9 Open Class Tournament Team.  Learn more »

Coastal Sea Turtle Club seeks to increase the interest and education of sea turtles and their conservation. This club allows students to become involved in activities and volunteer work associated with organizations both locally and globally.  Learn more »
