RN-TO-BSN COMPLETION PROGRAM

The nursing RN-to-BSN completion program is for registered nurses (RN) who want to advance their education. This Bachelor of Science in Nursing program prepares graduates who can provide evidence-based comprehensive nursing care that is scientific-based, caring, and respectful of diverse individual needs.

Students must have earned an RN prior to admission to this program and meet all degree prerequisites.

Throughout the program, students study topics ranging from health assessment and community health nursing to transcultural care, health policy, nursing research, and leadership in nursing. Students will have access to faculty with expertise in nursing practice, health assessment, community primary prevention, leadership skills, and research. Students will engage in self-directed learning experiences with nurses practicing in their communities and in leadership positions in healthcare institutions.

Students take classes in a hybrid format and usually attend classes on campus about two Saturdays a month. Additional coursework is completed online.

This program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
