About Us

The CINO Pantry is a free food and resource pantry open to any and all CCU students, faculty, and staff. Visitors do not need to qualify in any way or meet any requirements to use the pantry. The CINO Pantry is completely supplied through donations from the campus and community.

We house food, menstrual products, hygiene products, toiletries, and a small assortment of clothes.

The CINO Pantry was created by students in an effort to help reduce hunger and improve nutrition on campus. The idea for the CINO Pantry originated in a University 110 class in 2012. The need for the pantry was determined based on the percentage of CCU students who received financial aid and the number of juniors and seniors who lived off-campus and struggled with having enough money to cover the average amount of rent each month and still have enough money to buy food or a meal plan.

CINO Pantry is open to all students, faculty, and staff. CINO Pantry is located in Lib Jackson Student Union A-215 and is open during Lib Jackson Student Union hours and can be accessed by swiping your CINO Card.

Pack the Pantry: Parking Amnesty Week

Parking Amnesty Week is an annual that allows students, staff, faculty, and visitors to "pay" select parking citations by contributing five non-perishable food items to the CINO Pantry. Pack the Pantry takes place during the first week of classes in the fall semester.

THANK YOU to everyone who donated and volunteered for Pack the Pantry! We collected over 14,000 items for the CINO Pantry!
