Praxis Core Resources
All education pre-majors are required to pass or exempt the Core Academic Skills Praxis exam (formerly called Praxis 1) prior to entering the Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences Professional Teacher Educator Program. This page provides a variety of resources to facilitate Praxis I success.
As of September 1, 2019, the Praxis Core exam requirements for the state of South Carolina changed. Some of the free website below may have the old test numbers, but can still be used as a practice resource.

CCU EBSCO Learning Express Library: Prepare for the Praxis Core Tests
Utilize the CCU EBSCO Learning Express Library to access the eBooks. A study plan provides a roadmap to prepare for the Praxis® tests. It can help you understand what skills and knowledge are covered on the test and where to focus your attention. A written study plan can help you organize your efforts.
Test Prep Webinars deliver in-depth information about Praxis Core test preparation. You’ll receive a comprehensive overview of preparation along with demonstrations about what to expect on test day. All webinars are run by an ETS representative and end with a Q&A to address any specific questions or concerns.
