Academic Testing Center

Important COVID-19 Update:

  • The ATC now has regular testing hours for test takers only (those with appointments and approved walk-ins); no guests or family members, please.

  • Seating has been reduced due to physical distancing criteria.  If you have trouble finding an available appointment with your test sponsor, call the test center at 843-349-4011.  We may be able to assist you.

  • The ATC and some test sponsors have specific requirements for testing during COVID, such as bringing your own face covering/mask, ID requirements, etc.  Make sure you carefully review all correspondence and posted guidance from your test sponsor and the ATC!  Click here to see our policies and requirements for testing during COVID.

  • If you make an appointment at our center and we are subsequently directed to close on that day, you should receive notification of the closure and rescheduling instructions from your test sponsor.  Your test sponsor has been given our most recent guidance for the resumption of testing operations, but occasionally testers report they did not get notification.  Feel free to email or call the ATC to confirm your appointment:   academictesting@coastal.edu or 843-349-4011.

  • Select test sponsors are TEMPORARILY offering remote/at home testing options.  Right now we are aware of these: Praxis, GACE, GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL.  Visit those websites for details.

  • Feel free to email us with your questions.
