Face-to-Face Classes for 2021

Classes at Coastal Carolina University will primarily be face-to-face beginning in Fall 2021. Protocols necessary to deal with the pandemic forced a majority of classes to go virtual. University leaders believe that vaccinations and positive trends will allow for a return to face-to-face classes in August. Guidelines from the CDC will be followed and virtual options will continue to be offered for students who do not yet feel comfortable attending class in person. There is an excitement building for the move, which will bring Coastal another step closer to normal.

Responding to student comments, Coastal Carolina University has established the ChantSafe program. That consists of a website, which brings together all of the resources available whenever students, or anyone else on campus, encounter safety issues. Students were involved in the development of the website, which is optimized for mobile use. It is being rolled out at the beginning of the fall 2019 semester.
