Inspiring Women - Coastal Carolina University

The Celebration of Inspiring Women is part of the annual Women's Leadership Conference and recognizes and celebrates extraordinary women who have demonstrated visionary leadership in various disciplines and whose lives and accomplishments have had a substantive and positive impact in South Carolina and beyond. Since the program's inception in 2011, 47 women have been recognized, including the 2020 honorees: Pamela S. Evette, Gayle Resetar and Jennifer P. Wilson.

Coastal Carolina University first lady Theresa “Terri” DeCenzo has been recognized by for her dedicated service as the founder and executive director of WIPL. During a surprise announcement at WIPL’s 10th annual Celebration of Inspiring Women on Feb. 10, 2020, it was revealed that the Inspiring Woman Award has been renamed the Theresa M. DeCenzo Inspiring Woman Award.
