The mission of the Office of Facilities Planning and Management at Coastal Carolina University is to plan, provide and maintain campus buildings and grounds in a manner which is conducive to learning and which promotes a safe and attractive environment for students, faculty, staff and external constituencies.
The Office of Facilities Planning and Management is committed to providing quality service day-to-day to meet the needs of our campus community. Facilities Planning and Management maintains approximately 1,523,541 square feet of building space on 360 acres. The Office of Facilities Planning and Management serves the campus through the following two divisions:
The Facilities Operations staff is responsible for all Custodial Services, Community Events/Moving, Grounds Services, Transportation Services, Housing Maintenance and Facilities Supply.
University Projects and Planning is responsible for all new building construction, existing building renovations, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Paint Shop, Key Control and Signage.
