Swain Scholars named for 2014-2015

Three juniors at CCU have been named 2014-2015 Swain Scholars for the next four semesters, according to Sharon Thompson, adviser for the program. They are DeVariay Levon White,  Christina Auth and Briana Nicole Laws, a biology major from Myrtle Beach.

CCU named Lead Institution in Civic Engagement by national association

Coastal Carolina University has been selected along with 100 other colleges and universities in the country to participate in a national initiative on civic learning and democratic engagement as a Lead Institution in Civic Engagement.
