PERCUSSION

“Those interested in auditioning for the percussion area should prepare a well-rounded audition that best displays your musical interests and skillset. We would like to see performance in three areas of percussion. Performance on following instruments is required: snare drum and keyboard percussion. As the auditionee, you may choose your third instrument from one of the following options: timpani, drum set, steel pan, multi-percussion, hand percussion, etc.  Sight-reading will be expected on snare drum and keyboard percussion as well. Please contact Dr. Jesse Willis at jwillis@coastal.edu with any questions and for more information about audition repertoire choices.
