Audition Requirements
Woodwinds
- Prepare two selections that demonstrate contrasting styles, one fast and technical and the other slow and lyrical. These can include etudes as well as solo pieces. The all-state or region band solo is also acceptable. (Two single movement works or individual movements from multiple movement works are acceptable.)
- All Major scales should be prepared
- Sight-reading will be required.
Accompaniment is not required. If you choose to use accompaniment, please send copies of your music at least two weeks in advance, unless you are bringing your own accompanist.
