Gabrielle's Video

The moment you meet Gabrielle Poston you know she fits her own description of “lively.” A senior from Myrtle Beach, it is impossible to doubt her genuine enthusiasm. When asked how she maintains her optimistic nature, Gabrielle remarks, “Positive thoughts attract positive actions and no matter what there is always a plan.”

With that outlook on life, combined with a cup of coffee here and there, Gabrielle has successfully completed a great run at Coastal Carolina University. Knowing from the start that CCU was right for her, she pursued her communication degree. However, it was the other discipline she was able to chase that really highlighted her time on campus.  An art studio minor, Gabrielle identifies her favorite moment at CCU as the opportunity she had to express herself and grow through art.

Upon graduating, Gabrielle plans to continue her modeling career. If all goes according to plan, she will end up in Florida by the time the summer is over. Although seeing this Grand Strand native leave the area will be tough, one can’t help but feel appreciation for the time she has devoted toward being a productive member of both the community and this campus.
