Kae's Video

Kae Huang is yet another example of a student who traveled many miles from the north to attend Coastal Carolina University. A sophomore communication student, Kae came to Coastal for the beautiful weather and the chance to explore life outside of Pennsylvania. But once enrolled, she discovered so much more than just sunshine and a change of scenery.

The tight knit Coastal community and the opportunity to develop close bonds with fellow students justified her decision to move over 500 miles to Conway. In fact, it was these aspects of the CCU experience that inspired her to apply for a major student leadership position. Her courage to put herself out there paid off as Kae was selected as an orientation leader for 2017. It is in this post that she will have the opportunity to pass on her passion for Coastal Carolina to new students.

But her desire to motivate others isn’t Kae’s only goal during her time as a Chanticleer. She wants to graduate from the Honors Program by the time she walks across the stage in the HTC Center. Judging by Kae’s attitude and dedication toward her CCU experience, this particular academic goal should be well within her reach.
