Taylor's Video

Taylor Anderson is one of those people who likes to pay it forward. She will tell you up front that Coastal Carolina helped her get involved on campus while enabling her to evolve as a person at the same time. Because of this push from her university, Taylor takes great pride in getting others involved.

Deciding that Coastal was the perfect distance from her hometown of Charleston, S.C., Tayor arrived on campus two years ago. In that time span she has involved herself with several different organizations while also working for Ocean Park Resort in Myrtle Beach. She has aspirations of becoming an event planner and judging by her leadership experience with the Coastal Activities Board in addition to her other extracurricular activities, it looks like Taylor is on the right track.

Taylor uses the example set by three powerful women to guide her each day. She says the strength displayed through countless life experiences by her mother, aunt and grandma helps to inspire her and make her who she is. With the lessons she has learned at Coastal combined with the positive influence her relatives graced upon her, Taylor is a solid role model for any new student on campus.

Taylor is a junior.
Taylor is from Charleston, S.C.
