Tyrone's Video

Here is a great story for you: A young man grows up in the area. He then decides to stay local and attend Coastal Carolina University. While at CCU, he prospers on campus as he joins organizations, serves as an orientation leader and even works at the popular bagel shop. He then graduates and stays local, inspiring legions of Grand Strand youth through his mastery of words and passion.

This story is almost entirely true. Tyrone McKenney is a Florence native who decided to attend Coastal Carolina University and make an impact immediately upon setting foot on campus. The graduation part will come very soon as Tyrone is a senior. Then, once degree is in hand, the plan to inspire others will hopefully spin into motion. Tyrone wants to become a motivational speaker, a goal that people immediately recognize as achievable once in his presence. Engage in a five minute conversation with Tyrone and you will know that he is going to help a lot of folks in the future.
