Zach's Web Page

As we write this, Zach Belger is kicking off a special Thanksgiving week at Disney World. The junior health communication student is with his family exploring the wonders of Epcot.

Although he is currently enjoying himself in Orlando, just last week he was on campus making a #CCUPositiveImpact. As the corresponding secretary of Kappa Alpha Order, he was in the Lib Jackson Student Union raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. His commitment to helping others is one reason why we value Zach.

Of course we hold this Coosawhatchie, S.C., native in high esteem for other reasons as well. He is a talented bike tech for the Outdoor Center of University Recreation, using his hands to fix bikes and get students riding again. He is also passionate about his field of study. A health communication student who is minoring in marketing, Zach wants to enter the medical equipment sales industry. We also admire how he involves himself on campus, especially when it comes to competition – Zach is very involved with intramural sports. With over two years of involvement at CCU, whether it be through his fraternity or on the intramural playing fields, Zach has really enjoyed his Chanticleer experience.

“CCU has given me a lot of connections,” Zach says. “I have made a lot of friends.”

Calling himself “spontaneous” we know Zach will enjoy numerous other experiences before he graduates. However, no matter the random adventures he goes on or the new people he meets, we know Zach will be standing tall when it comes time to graduate in May of 2020.

Zach loves sports.
