The Hyden Family Endowment For Students with Financial Need
The purpose of the gift is to support students within the University who are in need of short-term, non-recurring funding to deal with family-related crisis or emergency or short-term hardship. The student has no obligation to repay the fund for monies received; however, the student is encouraged to remember the institution/future students when they are in a position to return the favor. All discussion for approval/disapproval for the distribution of funds will be decided upon by the Vice President of Campus Life & Student Engagement in accordance with approved University policies and procedures and in compliance with federal and state regulations. No student shall receive more than $500 during his/her enrollment at the University. However, the student may receive funds on more than one occasion as long as the total amount does not exceed $500. The criteria and process for deciding if a student qualifies, or not, will be determined, maintained, and enforced by the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement. Decision made by committee.
