Penny Bell

Penny Bell has been employed with CCU since August, 1998. Since 2006, Penny has been involved in advising. She earned the Distinguished Adviser of the year award at Coastal Carolina University in 2014-2015. The current majors she advises are criminal justice, middle level education and physical education.
Penny was born and raised in Horry County. She is proud to be a CCU Alumni. She understands how important advancing your education is. She earned her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from CCU, with a focus in management, in 2009 and completed her MBA in 2016. She strongly believes where there is a will, you will find a way to achieve both personal and career goals. Penny’s advice to students is to get involved in all that you can on campus. Four years fly by; do all that you can to start resume building early. And of course, own your mistakes and remember the lessons learned. You will smile when those lessons turn up down the road in life, and you reflect on how far you have grown.
