Lindsay Normile
Athletic Academic Advisor
Lindsay received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University in 2021. She then attended Wingate University where she received her Master of Arts in Sport Management with a concentration in Athletic Administration and Compliance in 2022. While working on her graduate degree, Lindsay worked as an Academic Mentor with the football team at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After graduating, she worked as an Assistance Athletic Academic Counselor at the University of Maryland supporting the baseball and men's golf teams.
When not at work, Lindsay enjoys working out, catching up on the latest reality TV drama and trying new restaurants in town. Lindsay also loves supporting her students at their sporting events!
Lindsay's WHY is being able to build positive and supportive relationships with her student-athletes. She loves seeing her students build confidence in the classroom and in their sport. She enjoys learning about each of her students as individuals and helping them set and achieve their goals!
