Kendra Lee
Academic Advisor, Wall College of Business

My husband and I, along with our cat, Ollie, moved to the area in November 2021 which is also when I began working at Coastal Carolina University. We wanted to live at the beach and I had a strong desire to work at a four-year university. Prior to coming here, I worked at a community college in NC as an Academic Advisor and later as the Director of Upward Bound. I also have previous experience working as a School Counselor at both the elementary and high school levels. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University.
In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and taking our boat out on the Intracoastal Waterway. I love to read whether it’s an actual book, e-book or audiobook. Books are like a mini vacation for me. I am a die-hard Carolina Tar Heels fan. I enjoy singing, regardless if it’s on the karaoke stage, with a local band, or in my church choir. I am known around the office for turning something someone says into a song lyric. I’m an avid coffee drinker. The movie theater is one of my favorite places to go. I never miss the latest Marvel movie. On any sunny Sunday afternoon during the summer and fall, you’ll most likely find me on the beach, under an umbrella with a book in my hand and country music tunes flowing from the speaker.
