Louis E. Keiner
Interim Dean
Louis Keiner is Interim Dean of the HTC Honors College at Coastal Carolina University. He earned an M.S. in Physics from Wake Forest University and a Ph.D. in Marine Science from the University of Delaware, and was a post-doctoral researcher at NOAA before coming to CCU. He has served as the Director of CCU’s Center for Effective Teaching and Learning and as chair of the Department of Chemistry and Physics. He developed and leads the study abroad program for Coastal students at the Scottish Association for Marine Science. He has been the Director of Honors since 2018.
