Biography

Brian Roessler has had a love of creating and sharing knowledge since he was a small child. Born in Pittsburgh, but having lived in Horry County since 2000, Brian spent 12 years producing television for Horry County Schools before joining the Department of Communication, Media, & Culture full-time. Brian sees making meaningful connections between theory, skills, and life experience as the crux of teaching. During his non-teaching time, Brian can be found in the creative scene of the Grand Strand – as a performing songwriter, actor, and entertainer, as well as working with, organizing, and supporting a wide array of performers, creatives, and venues from Wilmington to Georgetown.
