Biography
Dr. Cross is the author of Black Bear Creek: Stories (Southeast Missouri State UP, 2021), which won a 2022 Independent Press Award for short story collections. His work has appeared in Beloit Fiction Journal, Big Muddy, Puerto del Sol (forthcoming) and elsewhere.
