Biography
Farrah Hersh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies. Dr. Hersh received her Ph.D. in English with a focus on Screen Studies from Florida State University, her M.A. from the New School in New York and a B.S., from Florida State University. Before returning to academia, she worked in entertainment publicity for USA Network and Cartoon Network. Her research and teaching interests focus on American Cinema, with particular interest in examining the relationship between gender and genre through film cycles, spaces, and marketing.
