Biography
Jenien Passigli's love of cultural study began in childhood with a fascination for the beautiful, and sometimes haunting, work of National Geographic's photojournalists. Since then, she has always been attracted to travel and the study of languages and culture. Originally from the New York/New Jersey area, she moved to Myrtle Beach with her family almost ten years ago to begin working as a Spanish teacher with Horry County Schools. She has taught learners of diverse ages and backgrounds from middle and high school to the university level. She joined the LIS Department two years ago as a Teaching Associate, and has enjoyed her time at CCU immensely! She currently teaches SPAN 115 and LIS 122.
