Music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable" - Leonard Bernstein
Jessica Pelltier is currently the Flute Professor at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She is also studying Flute Performance at University of South Carolina for her Doctoral of Musical Arts degree, planned graduation date of 2026. Jessica performs with the Long Bay Symphony, Florence Symphony, Opera Wilmington, and gigs locally in the area.
In 2019, Jessica created her very own flute studio, the Positive Playing Studio, where she teaches all ages of flutists along side a community flute choir. Her well-known flute studio has been seen on the WMBF news station, and all throughout Horry County. She also created the Myrtle Beach Intensive, a weekend long flute (bassoon & saxophone) workshop for students that includes guest artists, masterclasses, performances, and more.
Alongside of her teaching career, music has taken Jessica all over the world in her orchestral, teaching, and soloing career, such as: London, Germany, Costa Rica, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, California, and more. Jessica has had the honor to study with multiple world-renowned artists such as Jim Walker, Jeanne Baxstresser, Alberto Almarza, Marina Piccinini, Denis Bouriakov, Rose Lombardo, Ben Smolen, Valarie Coleman, and Diana Morgan.
