Coastal Carolina University Application-based Scholarships

Coastal Carolina University's online scholarship application allows accepted and enrolled students to apply for scholarships from the annual or endowed gifts of generous donors through the Coastal Educational Foundation, the Horry County Higher Education Commission, and Coastal Carolina University. These scholarships have a wide variety of requirements, ranging from merit and essay-based, to specific majors or involvement in clubs or community service on campus. Available Scholarships

CCU's Scholarship Application gives you easy access to a list of current scholarships, criteria, and application deadlines. The 2024-2025 cycle closed on March 15th, 2024. Financial Aid & Scholarships will communicate with current and prospective students once the new application cycle is open.

How to Apply

Students are welcome to apply for future application cycles. Applying is easy!

1. Set up your account. Students must first set up their password. Continuing students and new accepted students who have paid the enrollment deposit should use their CCU email address when setting up their account. New accepted students who have not yet paid their enrollment deposit should set up their account using the email used on CCU's admissions application. Once you pay your enrollment deposit, you will need to log in with your CCU email. Your password will not change.
2. Fill out the application. During the open application period, log in. The scholarship application will ask a series of questions to learn more about you. You will then be matched to scholarships for which you can apply. You can save your progress and return to the scholarship application at any time during the open application period. 
3. Submit follow up items. Some scholarships require additional items (such as an essay, letter of recommendation, etc.). Students must submit these additional items to be considered for the scholarships. The application allows students to submit these easily online!
