Dean's Emergency Fund

The Dean’s Emergency Fund is a year-round fund established to help business students facing financial hardship get the resources they need to continue their education and complete their degree at CCU. This is a one-time award for students with an emergency financial need so they can continue to make successful academic progress. The typical award ranges from $350-$1,000, and all funds awarded will be first applied to any outstanding invoice or balance due.

If you have experienced extenuating circumstances that have caused a financial challenge, consider applying for this support.

To be considered, applicants must:

  1. Be a business student in good academic standing
  2. Demonstrate financial need via a completed FAFSA (https://www.coastal.edu/financialaid/)
  3. Be enrolled during the semester for which the award is requested; funds cannot be awarded to students who are not enrolled.
  4. Submit a short essay describing how these funds would enable them to stay at CCU to complete their degree.
