Marketing and HRTM Scholarship Recipients

Erin Elliott

As I look towards my future, I know that being a student at in the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University gave me valuable traits that will set me apart from others.

"Since my first class, I was challenged and pushed past my comfort zone to accomplish more than I ever thought possible. During my time as a student in the Wall College, I was able to take advantage of so many opportunities for professional growth, such as becoming the co-chair of special events for Beta Gamma Sigma and becoming a member of both Eta Sigma Delta and Phi Eta Sigma. My professors encouraged and guided me on a path to success that I would not have found on my own. I am confident that when I graduate, I will be prepared to take the things I learned here and apply them to any position."

I look forward to finishing my last year with confidence, knowing the Wall College has prepared me for a dynamic career in business.

I am a senior honors student in the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration; my major is marketing with a graphic design minor. It is my honor to be a recipient of the Marketing and HRTM scholarship. Since becoming a student at the Wall College, I have experienced the administration’s unwavering dedication to students’ success.

I have been inspired, both inside and outside of the classroom to consider all career opportunities in marketing. My participation in the American Marketing Association and Beta Gamma Sigma has provided a professional skill set to navigate the business world. The Wall College also created an amazing opportunity for me to study international business abroad.

Gina Sileo

I am so honored and grateful to be the recipient of this scholarship!

My name is Gina Sileo, and I am a senior double major in hospitality and management. I’m originally from New Jersey but officially moved to Myrtle Beach full time a little over a year ago. When I graduate, I want to be an event planner because I would love to make people’s dreams and visions for their most important days come to life. In my free time, I like to go to the beach, work out, hang out with friends and family, and listen to new music.

I have found my time at Coastal Carolina University to be invaluable to both my personal and professional growth.

"Challenging courses taught by professors who truly cared about my academic success allowed me to thrive within the Wall College of Business and successfully prepared me for my position as a digital marketing specialist after graduation. The various scholarships presented to me through the Wall College of Business allowed me to pursue my education to its full extent, from studying abroad to taking on leadership roles within different organizations, all with a lessened financial burden. With these scholarships, I was able to focus my priorities on my education and make the most of my time at CCU and I thank both the Marketing and HRTM Department and the Wall College of Business as a whole for this scholarship and their unwavering support throughout my academic career."
