Register for OLLI at CCU Spring 2023 semester

January 9, 2023

Spring 2023 registration for classes in Coastal Carolina University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) opens Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 9 a.m. OLLI at CCU, which is an enrichment program for adult learners 50 and older, offers its members access to a wide variety of courses, special interest groups and excursions, as well as other campus and community benefits. The spring semester begins Feb. 13.

“We are very excited about our upcoming spring semester,” said Casey Woodling, Ph.D., CCU’s director of academic outreach and continuing education. “It is a chance to bring our lifelong learning community into action.”

More than 50 courses are taught by Coastal faculty and local experts at four locations throughout the Grand Strand (main campus, HGTC Market Common campus, Murrells Inlet Community Center, and the North Myrtle Beach Library), as well as on Zoom. OLLI offers classes on subjects ranging from finding the perfect shark tooth to exploring historical texts and locations that helped shape our world.

“Our expanded offerings for Spring 2023 are testament to the hard work of our OLLI team of staff, instructors, and volunteers,” said Woodling. “We are extremely grateful to our community partners as well. If you have a desire to never stop learning, please come join us.”
