CCU Complete, a $100 per course tuition incentive program, creates pathway for South Carolinians looking to finish their college degrees
To qualify for the program, individuals must be a current South Carolina resident. The program is also open to former CCU students who have not been enrolled at the University for four consecutive semesters.
According to Lee Brown, Ph.D., dean of CCU’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies, the goal of the program is to increase attainment in higher education for South Carolinians by improving affordability and increasing access.
“There are nearly 470,000 South Carolinians who have some college credit but no degree,” said Brown. “CCU Complete is our innovative way of engaging these ‘near completers,’ reducing barriers, and creating a clear pathway to degree completion. Through CCU Complete, we’re not only helping students achieve their education goals, but we’re also driving economic stability by strengthening our state’s workforce.”
The eligible classes must satisfy curricular components of an online undergraduate degree or an online undergraduate completion degree at the University. The available undergraduate programs are hospitality, resort, and tourism management; information technology; and marketing; and the completion programs are health administration and professional studies.
