First Contact Sessions

Counseling begins with a brief First Contact appointment where information is exchanged between counselor and student.  Decisions are made during that appointment about what services and what counselor will best meet the student's needs.  For those who are unsure about whether counseling is right for them, First Contact is a great opportunity to check it out without committing to on-going treatment. 

Students can participate in a First Contact session during the Walk-In Clinic which takes place during the following hours:

                Monday 12:30-3:00 pm

                Tuesday 12:30-3:00 pm

                Wednesday 12:30-3:00 pm

                Thursday 12:30-3:00 pm

                Friday 12:30-3:00 pm
