The Sunny and Prerna Gupta Jamboree Alumni Scholarship
for new freshmen students
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be admitted to CCU and completed standardized tests (SAT/TOEFL) at any Jamboree location;
- Must have graduated from a licensed high school/secondary school in India or the UAE;
- Be an incoming freshman with a minimum combined SAT verbal and math score of 1,250 and a minimum of 79 on the TOEFL internet-based test;
- Show strong academic performance at the secondary school level as evidenced by a grade conversion of all high school work to the U.S. equivalent of a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale);
- Submit a typed essay (no longer than 1,200 words) addressing each of the following:
- The applicant's reason for coming to CCU to study;
- His or her plans to contribute to campus life at CCU; and
- How an international study experience will enrich the applicant's academic and personal/professional development.
- Maintain full-time status and demonstrate satisfactory degree progress; and
- Submit additional requirements described below.
Additional Requirements
- Submit a typed essay (no longer than 1,200 words) addressing each of the following:
- Your reason for coming to CCU to study;
- Your plans to contribute to campus life at CCU; and
- How an international study experience will enrich your academic and personal/professional development.
- Describe how you meet the requirements of having graduated from a licensed high school/secondary school in India or the UAE, and having completed standardized tests (SAT/TOEFL) at a Jamboree location.
Failure to submit additional requirements will constitute an incomplete application and will not be considered.
