Betty M. Springs Memorial Scholarship Trust
for new freshmen students

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

1. Be admitted as an undergraduate student at CCU;
2. Be a new incoming freshman at the time of application;
3. Be enrolled in a degree within the E. Craig Wall, Sr. College of Business Administration;
4. Be a resident of Horry or Georgetown County, South Carolina;
5. Demonstrate financial need* as defined by Financial Aid and Scholarships; and
6. Maintain full-time status and demonstrate satisfactory degree progress.

Selection of the recipient will be made on the following criteria priority order:

1. Financial Need
2. Ambition
3. High school academic grades

* FAFSA must be completed in order to determine financial need
