Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards for Federal Financial Aid
Institutions participating in Title IV Federal aid programs are required by the United States Department of Education to establish institutional policies which define and measure the quantitative and qualitative progress of eligible students. Each student who receives Federal financial aid at Coastal Carolina University is required to maintain satisfactory academic progress toward completion of his/her program of study.
Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal Deadlines*
- Fall 2020: October 8, 2020
- Spring 2021: February 23, 2021
- Summer 2021: July1, 2021
- Fall 2021: October 7, 2021
- Spring 2022: February 28, 2022
Complete appeals for Fall 2021 eligibility must be received no later than July 15 for review prior to payment deadline.
Appeals submitted after the midpoint in the term cannot be guaranteed for committee review. Note: if submitting appeal documentation after the specified deadline, you must submit documentation of your midterm grades for all courses.
Appeals will not be considered after the end of the term. Incomplete appeals will be denied.
