ChantiCREW Volunteers Fall 2022

Starting on Thursday, August 15, we will open our doors and begin welcoming nearly 5,400 residential students and their families to campus.  It is our goal to create a move-in experience that showcases what being a Chanticleer is all about. University Place residents have the opportunity to participate in our incredibly meaningful ChantiCREW tradition.

You may be thinking, what is ChantiCREW and why is it something I should consider? Simply put, ChantiCREW is comprised of faculty, staff, and student volunteers who connect with families during their move-in process and assist them with moving personal belongings. Here is a video that showcases what the move-in experience looks like and how ChantiCREW makes a difference.

We are seeking assistance on Sunday, August 18! University Place residents can register through MyCoastalHome using the link at the bottom of the page. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 24. There is a limit of 500 volunteers, so spots will fill up fast. University Place residents who volunteer for ChantiCREW will be able to move into their apartment early and receive our official t-shirt to promote your club, interest group, or yourself! Additional details about training and logistics will be shared with volunteers later this summer.
