University Closure and Evacuation

University Housing works closely with Emergency Management in the event a facility, environmental or weather-related incident or disaster warrants the University and residential facilities to close. Residents are advised to monitor the CCU Advisory website and their CCU email for any updates during a closure. All residents should sign up for CCU Alert to receive updates to your email and mobile device.

When a University closure is issued, an answer to when campus will reopen is situationally dependent on the severity and impact of the incident, therefore may not be immediately available. The closure could last a few days or a few weeks, so plan accordingly. Below is a video to help prepare your space for a University closure along with links to other resources.
