PRIDE

People Respecting Indvidual Diversity and Equality (PRIDE) is a retention and engagement initiative administered by Intercultural and Inclusion Student Services, PRIDE aims to improve the academic and personal growth of LGBTQIA+ students at Coastal Carolina University by enhancing communication, community involvement, and mentorship opportunities for students.

The fundamental goals of the program are to:

• Increase the recruitment, retention, and matriculation of LGBTQIA+ students at CCU.
• Create opportunities for campus, community, and civic engagement focused on the betterment of the LGBTQ+ community.
• Provide peer-to-peer support and mentorship for students in the LGBTQIA+ community.
