Step UP! is a prosocial behavior and bystander intervention program that educates students to be proactive in helping others. The goals of Step UP! are to:
- Raise awareness of helping behaviors
- Increase motivation to help
- Develop skills and confidence when responding to problems or concerns
- Ensure the safety and well-being of self and others
Step UP! is a leadership program that educates students to be proactive in helping others. Step UP! Champions are students who make our community safer by choosing to intervene and take action using one of the three D's. (Direct, Distract, Delegate)
Nominate a student as a Step Up! Champion if you have seen or experienced someone on campus stepping up.
