Camping

Outdoor Recreation provides the information and supplies you need to go camping in the area. We rent two-person and three-person tents, sleeping bags, packs and more. We can also provide information at the HTC Center.

State Parks are a great place to camp. South Carolina’s state parks have over 3,000 campsites in the state's most scenic places, providing numerous options for camping in state parks. Check out more information on South Carolina State Park Camping.

To make sure we have your gear available and ready for your trip, please contact the Outdoor Center 24 hours in advance to reserve camping gear. Visit the Outdoor Center during hours of operation or contact Outdoor Recreation Coordinator with questions about gear rentals.
