5th ANNUAL RSM MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT
On Thursday, October 19, 2023, Coastal Carolina University’s Recreation and Sport Management Department (RSM) students will host the 5th annual RSM Mini-Golf Tournament at the Shipwreck Mini-Golf Course. The event will include a round of mini-golf, light refreshments, prizes, and more.
Organized by students enrolled in the RSM 490: Program and Event Planning course, the RSM Mini-Golf Tournament utilizes experiential learning to educate students and prepare them for the recreation and sport industry. In addition, through marketing, sponsorships and partnerships, the event raises funds for the Recreation and Sport Management Alliance (RSMA). The alliance is a student-run organization, made possible by the efforts of all those affiliated. RSMA provides undergraduate students with a unique opportunity to network, travel on educational trips, and gain valuable industry experience with peers, while having fun.
