Ricky Frazier

Originally from Savannah, GA, Mr. Ricky Frazier has been at Coastal Carolina University since 2019. Mr. Frazier has worked in both the two- and four-year college sectors, holding almost 20 years of higher education experience. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Savannah State University, a Master of Science in Human Services, and a Professional Counseling Certificate both from Capella University. Currently, Mr. Frazier is enrolled in CCU’s Ph.D. in Education Sciences program in the Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences.
Previously, he worked in CCU’s Dean of Students Office, serving as the assistant director for student advocacy and intervention for four years. In this role, he worked with students to navigate resources on and off-campus related to basic needs and student support services. Students connecting with Mr. Frazier will learn strategies to access assistance with managing personal, social, and/or academic distress by identifying and navigating offices on campus.
