Jeremy Griffin received his BA in philosophy from Virginia Commonwealth University and his MFA in creative writing--fiction from Virginia Tech. He is the author of a collection of short fiction titled A Last Resort for Desperate People: Stories and a Novella, from Stephen F. Austin University Press. His work has appeared in such journals as the Greensboro Review, the Indiana Review, the Iowa Review, and Shenandoah, and he has written articles for Popmatters.com. Originally from Louisiana, he is a former stand-up comic and musician.
