Biography
Karen Williams has been employed with Coastal Carolina University since 2004. Prior to her start at CCU, she earned an Associate in Applied Science in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Conway, S.C. After receiving her Associates degree, she then enrolled at CCU to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion. During part of her time while earning that degree she served as Treasurer for Eta Sigma Gamma, the National Honor Society for Health Promotion. Since completing her studies in 2001, she has worked as an administrative professional, first for Horry County, and now for Coastal Carolina University. She enjoys assisting students and faculty members in the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies and is proud to work for her alma mater.
