Biography

Nils Rauhut joined the faculty at Coastal Carolina University in 1998 and has held a variety of administrative posts including Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies (from 2005-2008 and from 2011-1013) and Director of the Jackson Center for Ethics and Values. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Washington (Seattle) and a M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He served as President of the American Association of Philosophy Teacher s from 2010-2012 and he is author of "Ultimate Questions: Thinking about Philosophy" (3rd edition 2010) and "Readings on the Ultimate Questions" (3rd edition 2009).
