Biography
Alison has enjoyed an extensive professional career as a performer, choreographer and performing arts educator. Her performance credits include: "42nd St Revival" Broadway (Ens.), 'Billy Elliot" Broadway (Dance Captain/Swing), "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" Rockette, "An American in Paris" (Janelle) Alley Theatre TX, and many productions at Pittsburgh CLO. As a choreographer, Alison wore many hats for the production of Billy Elliot: Resident Choreographer US Tour, Associate Choreographer US Tour, Assistant Choreographer Amsterdam, Associate Choreographer UK Tour. She then choreographed productions for St. Louis MUNY, MT Wichita and Gateway Playhouse. Alison began her studies of dance pedagogy while in London, studying teacher training and becoming qualified with the nationally renowned ISTD syllabus. She has continued to teach throughout her performing career and is now honored to join the esteemed Theatre Faculty at CCU.
