Biography
Erin Burge joined the Coastal Carolina University faculty in 2006. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 1996 and a Ph.D. from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science at the College of William & Mary.
Burge is developing a research program that applies molecular and cellular techniques to field-oriented problems in an ecological context. He has authored numerous publications and has produced many publications in the field of marine science.
