All Computing Sciences faculty members have time dedicated to assisting students out of class. These are hours when faculty are in their offices ("office hours") available for student assistance.
- Tuesday: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Biography
Mike Murphy, associate professor of computer science and information systems at Coastal Carolina University, earned his B.S. in computer science from the Clemson University Calhoun Honors College in 2005, where he graduated summa cum laude. After a brief period of study at Syracuse University, Murphy returned to Clemson University, where he received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in 2007. He completed his Ph.D. in computer science in May 2010, then joined the CCU faculty in August 2010.
