Support the CCU Arboretum
Through your generosity, the CCU Arboretum will become a cherished part of our beautiful campus and our local community, and a sought-after stopping place for students, alumni, faculty and staff, and visitors. Each of the following levels of support will leave a lasting legacy and will contribute directly to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the CCU Arboretum.
Arboretum Supporter ($500)
With a gift of at least $500, your name or the name of your organization or company will be listed alongside fellow supporters on the CCU Arboretum’s website, and you’ll be updated annually by the arboretum’s managers about events and new developments.

Friend of the Arboretum ($1,000 - tree or $1,500 - bench)
With a gift of $1,000, you will be invited to honor the memory of a beloved family member or friend, recognize your organization or company, or honor a member of the Coastal Carolina University community. The name of the honoree will be etched into a small commemorative plaque to be displayed beneath the species tag at the base of a tree and listed on the CCU Arboretum website. At $1,500, you’ll be able to honor or memorialize a family member or friend, your organization or company, or a member of the Coastal Carolina University community with a bench placed in the CCU Arboretum. Along with either gift, you’ll also receive annual updates from the arboretum’s managers about events and new developments. The Arboretum naming and dedication opportunities are limited, and only available while they last.

Live Oak Guild ($3,000) No longer available
By supporting the CCU Arboretum at this special level, you will be able to honor an individual, family, organization, or company with a dedicated live oak on the CCU campus. The name of the honoree will be etched into a small commemorative plaque to be displayed beneath the species tag at the base of a tree and listed on the Arboretum website. In addition to a growing number of these beautiful and historic trees elsewhere on the University grounds, a limited number of live oak trees will be incorporated into the CCU Arboretum. A plant guild is a grouping of plants that function together in multiple mutually beneficial ways. In the same way that plants in a plant guild support each other’s well-being, so do the members of the Live Oak Guild and the magnificent trees that they support. Live Oak Guild members will also receive regular updates from CCU Arboretum managers and be invited to attend special events associated with the arboretum and the care of our verdant campus. The Arboretum naming and dedication opportunities are limited, and only available while they last.
